Had an amazing dinner with friends! We came in just before 8pm, about 15 minutes before closing, as the hours were clearly stated on their website and their Facebook page. They sat us at a lovely table, served us excellent drinks and dinner, and offered us a dessert menu of delicious gluten free options that change daily. Management and staff were wonderful! Will go back! It's amazing what you can experience when you clearly research the businesses direct contact information and review their menu listed on their website!

I rarely give a 5* review but after three trips here it is pretty damn great. Service can be ...casual but with Mandarin martinis on the menu that's A-OK. The shrimp and grits does not disappoint. A dozen shrimp in creamy grits with Tasso ham, scallions and tomatoes. I have never eaten unbreaded chicken picatta but here it's pretty awesome. The one thing I can do without is trivia night...seems a little beneath the ambiance. I really prefer no live music or antics such as trivia, but they didn't ask me. Keep doing what you're doing Beech St Grill!

We had a party of 4. I would've given 4 stars but everyone else walked out saying it was 5 stars. Pluses: parking, beautiful building and ambiance. Friendly server who was knowledgeable about anything on the menu was asked about. He had a great personality. Food was great - like everything was made from scratch. Desserts were spectacular. I'll be dreaming of the pb pie!! Negatives: when we called for a reservation we were told they could only seat us before 4:45 or after 7:30. Restaurant seemed pretty empty the whole time we were there (4:45-6:15). Strong sewage smell when we walked in. The Beech St burger was just okay. 1 whopping onion ring on it.

1/26/24 For "restaurant week" you would think the restaurant would want to put the best they have out...right! The choice of a fried green tomato, BLT sandwich sounds good but you need to make sure you have a nice amt of thick tomatoes and bacon on the sandwich..in our case-not so. The brioche bun was hard and too bready for my taste. With the lunch was truffle fries, they were good and one side. I chose the house salad and it was good. The building is a converted private home was nice, service was good too; it was just the sandwich.

What a neat historical house, with fantastic food and great service. We came in on a Tuesday night and they were busy upon our 7 PM arrival, but it's a huge, old house and there were plenty of tables available as we meandered through the first floor rooms. The menu has lots of options with something for everyone. The catch of the day was Mahi, and I had a blackened sandwich that was delicious! The garlic mashed potatoes were among the best I've had. My wife had the mushroom ravioli and added shrimp. There were about 6-8 shrimp and they were a great accompaniment to the tasty ravioli. The featured sparkling wine was great and I had a martini that was very good. Food prices are very in-line, and drinks were priced pretty typically; perhaps on the higher end price-wise. Cool vibe and solid service. Definitely recommended.

Went on a Tuesday because they have 20% discount for locals. First time here and just thought it was okay. Wanted to give 3 stars because of value and service but it was our servers first week so giving 4 stars for benefit of the doubt. I got the salmon BLT and side cesar salad. The salmon was good but sandwich bread was soggy. The cesar salad had paprika or something on the bottom so I really didnt like that... Cute decor but smelled a little funny and was loud inside

We stopped here on a whim on a Saturday. I will say, we were a bit underdressed in athletic clothes, but there was no actual dress code. The service was great. The drink recommendations were on point and so was the food. We had the shrimp tacos and black bean burger along with sweet potato fries. Our server recommended a side of honey and it was perfect! It's a small restaurant in a cute house downtown. It doesn't feel crowded or loud. We definitely will be back!

We had very good service here from Damian and the setting and food matched. It was a lovely evening celebrating my husband's birthday. The old preserved historic house is charming. You can imagine what it looked like when it was first built. We started by sharing a Caesar salad. My husband had their shrimp and grits with Tasso. I had their Fernandina shrimp lightly blackened and it came with cheese grits. I upgraded my veg to asparagus. Both of us remarked that our grits were so creamy and the best version we'd had on island. We were comped a dessert of brownie cheesecake for his birthday. Such a nice touch and welcome addition. This was relaxed, genteel dining. Unpretentious but upscale. Add this to your list when you're in the area.
